Description

Work on a large, critical core platform used by brokerage offices and other banking/client systems, including accounts, orders, transactions, settlement, regulatory obligations, and related integrations. You’ll develop Java applications and services, implement business functionality and bank integrations, and create unit and integration tests. AI will be used throughout development (analysis, coding, debugging, test generation, documentation, and code review), but you must validate the results.

Responsibilities

• Develop Java applications and services in the core system
• Implement business features and integrations with banking systems
• Work with REST, SOAP, EJB, JMS, Keycloak, and Kafka
• Build solutions in existing architecture and new microservices
• Analyze existing code to identify all impacted change points
• Create unit and integration tests
• Use AI for analysis, coding, testing, documentation, and code review
• Optimize performance and troubleshoot issues
• Participate in design and refining solutions
• Support rollout, stabilization, and maintenance

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of commercial Java development
• Experience with Java versions 17, 21, and/or 25
• Knowledge of Spring Framework / Spring Boot
• Experience with SQL and PostgreSQL
• Knowledge of Git
• Ability to write unit and integration tests
• Analytical problem-solving mindset
• Practical experience using AI in software development; able to critically assess AI output quality
