Description

You will work on the development of AML/KYC applications—both internal systems and client-facing solutions. The team delivers new services across the full SDLC: coding and source management, automated tests, continuous integration, issue tracking, and production deployment. The role focuses on Java-based multi-layer web services and building clean, modular, testable implementations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test system components for investor onboarding / transfer agency process support (Transfer Agency Investor Onboarding)
• Support business analysts in defining user story understanding and acceptance criteria
• Integrate internally developed systems with external vendor solutions
• Troubleshoot issues in test and production environments
• Extend technical specifications and documentation, including data modeling, data-flow diagrams, screen design, and workflow analysis
• Participate in system design, system tests, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Create deployment scripts and verification scripts to confirm correct behavior after release
• Collaborate with project managers, developers, testers, and specialists across teams and locations to ensure business alignment

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role
• Practical knowledge of Java and related technologies/frameworks for service-based web applications: Spring MVC / Spring Boot, JMS, JPA, JAX-*
• Solid object-oriented programming fundamentals and design patterns
• Ability to apply SOLID principles in practice
• Experience working with network services (SOAP, REST)
• Basic knowledge of data modeling
• Ability to write clear, flexible, modular code with interchangeable modules and layers
• Ability to structure code to enable unit test writing
• Relational database fundamentals and practical use
• Experience with at least one Agile methodology (Scrum or Kanban)
• Fluent English
• Bachelor’s, Engineering, or Master’s degree in Computer Science
• Proactive, positive attitude, openness to change, and ability to quickly understand broader context
