Description

Join the AML/KYC team to build and develop AML/KYC processes from scratch. You will propose how the function should work in practice—setting processes, controls, internal rules, and risk assessment principles—while also handling complex AML/KYC cases. You’ll be a key partner to other teams across the company.

Responsibilities

• Set up and evolve AML/KYC processes, including control mechanisms and internal rules/procedures

• Design the approach to client assessment and principles for evaluating AML/CFT risks

• Independently assess new and existing clients and resolve complex or non-standard cases

• Perform and professionally evaluate CDD and EDD

• Screen customers and transactions for sanctions and indicators of fraud

• Evaluate screening system results and define the next steps

• Identify potential risks and propose appropriate measures

• Prepare AML-related methodology, documentation, and reports

• Monitor AML/CFT developments and incorporate relevant requirements into internal processes

• Work closely with legal, finance, and retail teams as an AML/KYC expert partner

Requirements

• Minimum bachelor’s degree

• Practical AML/KYC/KYB experience enabling independent orientation, decision-making, and solution design

• Very good knowledge of AML/CFT, sanctions, and core fraud-prevention principles

• Experience with CDD/EDD and handling complex AML/KYC cases

• Ability to independently design, configure, and improve processes (not only follow them)

• Ability to find necessary information, connect it into context, formulate expert conclusions, and document them well

• Analytical thinking with a detail-oriented mindset and the ability to keep perspective

• Independence, proactive attitude, and willingness to take responsibility for an area being built

• English for everyday professional communication

• Advantage: AML experience in a regulated environment or experience setting up new AML/KYC processes
