Description

You will join an engineering pod focused on Name and Media Screening delivery. You will develop and maintain Java-based applications, drive continuous integration and improvements, and act as an experienced Scrum Master—coaching Scrum practices, facilitating ceremonies, and removing impediments to enable continuous improvement and predictable delivery. You will collaborate with the pod to deliver robust solutions aligned with business requirements and user experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java-based applications

• Drive continuous integration and improvements

• Act as a Scrum Master: coach the pod in Scrum practices, facilitate ceremonies, and remove impediments

• Collaborate with the pod to deliver robust, sustainable solutions aligned with business requirements and user experience

• Ensure alignment with organizational guidelines, principles, standards, and processes

• Advise Business Analysts, Testers, and Management on technical matters

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience developing Java applications

• Knowledge of Scrum, Agile, and Lean principles with evidence of applying them pragmatically

• Ability to identify, escalate, and remove delivery impediments and dependencies

• Experience facilitating distributed, multicultural teams and coordinating dependencies across multiple teams or locations

• SQL database skills, ideally Oracle

• Familiarity with a Linux-based server environment, including bash scripting

• Strong written and verbal business communication skills; experience working as part of a global team

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and synthesis skills

• English proficiency at B2 level or higher
