Description

You will design, develop, test, and integrate Java applications in an Agile Scrum team, delivering features during each sprint. The role emphasizes working across domains, following development, security, and architectural best practices, and contributing to collective team goals. You will also mentor junior developers and support knowledge sharing.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team to achieve sprint goals

• Design and implement applications using Java and Spring Boot

• Perform thorough testing and integration

• Participate in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement

• Follow coding standards, security protocols, and best practices

• Mentor junior developers and enable knowledge sharing

Requirements

• Expertise in Java and Spring Boot

• Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes

• Ability to design and build microservices and distributed architectures

• Experience with cloud application development

• Strong understanding of IT architecture (operating systems, networks, databases, middleware, infrastructure)

• Familiarity with development methods, security standards, and related tools

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant development experience

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and Scrum

• Fluent English for meetings and documentation

Plus to Have

• Integration experience across multiple technologies, including mainframe and distributed environments

• Experience with IBM Cloud, ideally DMZR environment

• Knowledge of KESMA and Elasticsearch

• French communication within the team (plus)

• Dutch knowledge (asset)
