Description

You will take technical ownership of business applications and their integrations in a marketing technology landscape. You’ll configure, maintain, and connect applications (e.g., Bloomreach, Topsort, TYPO3, Frontify) and build reliable data flows between systems.

As the first person in the role, you’ll shape application engineering practices from scratch while working closely with Marketing, Product Owners, and architecture teams.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, manage access, maintain, and document business applications

• Build and maintain data integrations between applications using Python, REST APIs, and CSV/JSON with AWS S3

• Deploy and maintain smaller applications and hosting on AWS using Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and GitLab CI/CD

• Assess technical feasibility with Marketing and Product Owners, advise on capabilities, and implement changes aligned to the roadmap

• Create reusable hosting/maintenance standards for a consistent and scalable application landscape

• Maintain technical documentation of applications, interfaces, and data flows with solution/domain architects

• Identify automation opportunities to simplify, improve, or consolidate the application landscape

Requirements

• Completed university degree in Computer Science or comparable technical field

• Several years of professional experience in Application Engineering, Integration Engineering, DevOps, Platform Engineering, or similar

• Hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes; ideally in an AWS environment

• Practical scripting experience with Python (or similar) for automation and data transfer

• Experience with REST APIs, CSV/JSON, and cloud storage such as AWS S3

• Experience administering and maintaining SaaS/business applications (configuration, access management, troubleshooting, user support)

• Strong communication skills in English and Polish; readiness for hybrid work in Katowice
