Description

Develop and productionize analytics and ML solutions by exploring large datasets, building Python/SQL feature and analytical workflows, and applying statistics and, where suitable, machine learning or AI to solve business problems. Build and maintain AWS data pipelines and help bring analytical solutions into production while documenting findings for stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Explore large datasets to understand patterns and answer business questions
• Develop features and analytical workflows using Python and SQL
• Build and maintain data pipelines on AWS
• Apply statistical methods and, where appropriate, machine learning or AI techniques
• Move analytical solutions into production and maintain existing workflows
• Explain findings and document work for technical and business stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field
• 3+ years of professional experience as a Data Scientist, Data Engineer, or a role combining analytics and engineering
• Strong Python skills including pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn
• Good SQL skills and experience working with data platforms
• Solid understanding of statistics, data analysis, and feature engineering
• Hands-on experience with AWS data services (S3, Glue, Athena, Lambda, SageMaker, Step Functions, Redshift, or EMR)
• Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines or orchestrating data workflows
• Fluent English and Polish
• Willingness to visit the Katowice office once per month and travel to the client’s office in Lisbon once per quarter
