Description

Design, build, and operate scalable data platforms and pipelines for analytics and machine learning use cases. Transform raw data from databases, APIs, and event streams into reliable, high-quality data products while contributing to architectural and platform-level decisions.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement batch and streaming data pipelines

• Integrate data from databases, APIs, and event streams

• Build and maintain ETL/ELT processes

• Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance

• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts

• Support deployment and operation of data solutions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field

• 3+ years of professional experience as a Data Engineer

• Programming skills in Python or Java

• Experience with batch or streaming processing frameworks (e.g., Spark, Databricks, Kafka)

• SQL and data modeling skills; Snowflake and dbt experience is a plus

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

• Fluent communication in English and Polish

• Openness to hybrid work and regular visits in Katowice office, once per month
