Description

Lead the architecture and engineering execution of a modern core platform ecosystem for a global enterprise SaaS platform. Drive platformization of shared capabilities, centralized data pipelines, and AI enablement into reusable, scalable platform services so product squads can build and scale safely and reliably. Modernize the platform through microservices and API boundaries, real-time event streaming with Kafka, AI/agentic workflow enablement, and an internal developer portal for self-service.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute a multi-year platform strategy and architecture roadmap
• Decouple legacy monoliths into domain-driven microservices with containerized pipelines
• Shift financial workflows from batch to real-time event-driven processing
• Enable AI and agentic workflows with LLM integration and vector store capabilities
• Build internal developer platform capabilities for provisioning, templates, observability, and independent deployments
• Architect reusable shared foundation components (AI orchestration, event pipelines, workflow engines, distributed replication)
• Establish service standards (API contracts, event formats, SLOs) and operational excellence practices
• Ensure enterprise governance, security, auditability, fine-grained access control, reliability, and multi-region resilience
• Build and scale autonomous, product-minded squads and mentor engineering leadership

Requirements

• Proven track record leading Platform, Distributed Systems, or AI Engineering organizations for large-scale enterprise SaaS platforms
• Deep event-driven architecture expertise (e.g., Kafka), including API design, workflow engines, distributed databases, and high-throughput processing
• Hands-on experience modernizing monoliths into cloud-native microservices without disrupting business continuity
• Product mindset for internal developer tools (adoption and developer satisfaction)
• Understanding of AI/ML infrastructure, agentic workflows, LLM orchestration, and vector data storage solutions
• 10+ years progressive engineering leadership; at least 5 years managing multi-squad platform organizations internationally
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering (or equivalent practical experience)

Benefits

• Annual base salary range: zł531,100.00 - zł671,650.00 (full-time); may progress beyond based on performance
