Description

Senior Metrics & GenAI Analyst to support a software engineering transformation and develop generative AI usage across the SDLC. The project analyzes software delivery process efficiency, implements DORA metrics, and measures the real impact of GenAI tools on developer productivity and quality.

Responsibilities

• Analyze current metrics and design new KPI indicators
• Implement DORA metrics, Lead Time for Changes, Cycle Time, and Flow Metrics
• Integrate and analyze data from Jira, GitLab, GitHub, and Gerrit via API and SQL
• Build and develop KPI dashboards in Power BI
• Analyze trends using median and percentiles; identify IT process bottlenecks
• Measure GenAI adoption (GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot) and evaluate impact on productivity and quality
• Analyze cost effectiveness and ROI of implemented AI solutions
• Provide improvement recommendations and present results to teams and management
• Document metric methodologies, definitions, and reports in Confluence

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in data analytics, DevOps, Platform Engineering, or IT/Agile processes
• Power BI experience (DAX, Power Query, data modeling)
• Very good SQL knowledge (JOIN, CTE, aggregations, window functions)
• DORA metrics knowledge with ability to implement and interpret them
• Ability to analyze Lead Time for Changes, Cycle Time, and Flow Metrics
• Knowledge of LLMs, prompt engineering, basic RAG, and integrating models via API
• Practical knowledge of GitHub Copilot and Microsoft Copilot
• Ability to translate data and KPIs into business recommendations
• Very good Jira knowledge (JQL, workflow, status history)
• Practical knowledge of GitLab, GitHub, and Gerrit
