Description

Join a new CCM (Customer Communications Management) project combining classic software engineering with Python, Java, AI, and cloud technologies. You’ll build Java microservices, apply strong testing and CI/CD practices, and evolve toward GenAI / AI-enabled software engineering. The work includes practical GenAI concepts like LLMs and RAG with governance and controls.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve software for the CCM domain using Python and cloud-based approaches

• Develop Java microservices with enterprise integration patterns (REST and messaging/eventing)

• Design and maintain database schemas, including performance tuning and transactional integrity

• Implement unit/integration testing and API/contract testing

• Work with CI/CD pipelines and quality gates (e.g., SAST/DAST, dependency scanning)

• Participate in technical design and make pragmatic trade-offs under time pressure

• Apply GenAI concepts and tools (LLMs, RAG, agent patterns) with governance considerations

Requirements

• Very strong Python knowledge (key requirement)

• Basic experience building Java microservices (e.g., Spring Boot) in enterprise environments

• Solid RDBMS experience (e.g., Oracle/PostgreSQL): schema design, performance tuning, transactional integrity

• Very good unit and integration testing experience: JUnit, Mockito, Testcontainers, API/contract testing

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and quality gates: Jenkins/GitLab, Sonar, SAST/DAST, dependency scanning

• Knowledge of integration patterns: REST, messaging/eventing, API design, versioning strategies

• Experience in technical design and ability to make pragmatic decisions/compromises under time pressure

• Practical experience with a public cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure); readiness to work with Azure

• Practical knowledge of GenAI concepts/tools in software engineering: LLMs, RAG, agent patterns; governance and controls awareness
