Description

Maintain and evolve an enterprise SAS 9.4 analytics/data platform, including administration, automation, monitoring, and production incident troubleshooting.

You will manage authentication and access (LDAP/Active Directory), ensure high availability and stability, and optimize performance through log analysis and root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop and automate analytics environments and data platforms based on SAS 9.4 (Metadata Server, Object Spawner, Workspace Server, SAS Web Application Server, SAS Scalable Performance Data Server).
• Administer and maintain the SAS platform.
• Administer Linux, Unix/AIX, and Windows Server systems.
• Ensure high availability and stability for production platforms.
• Analyze and optimize environment performance.
• Diagnose and resolve production incidents.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis.
• Troubleshoot performance, integrations, and system configuration issues.
• Analyze application, system, and infrastructure logs.
• Provide security and user access; manage authentication and authorization.
• Integrate with LDAP and Active Directory; manage permissions and access control.
• Support vulnerability analysis, security patches, and security compliance.
• Automate administrative and operational processes using Bash, PowerShell, Python, and CMD; build tools to reduce manual work.
• Standardize and document operational processes; participate in migration and deployment projects.

Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in systems or application platform administration.
• Strong knowledge of Linux, Unix/AIX, and Windows Server.
• Experience administering SAS 9.4 or similar enterprise-class platforms.
• Knowledge of LDAP and Active Directory.
• Ability to create and maintain administrative scripts: Bash, PowerShell, Python, CMD, Git.
• Experience with log analysis and production troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of system security concepts.
• Nice to have: experience with GCP or Azure, monitoring/observability, and CI/CD.
