• Role: Network Specialist (Enterprise networking across European sites)

Description

You will design, administer, operate, monitor, and develop the company’s network infrastructure to ensure high availability, security, and performance. You’ll manage Cisco networking technologies (switching, routing, WLAN), administer Cisco ISE and NAC access control, and configure Palo Alto firewalls. You’ll also implement network and security rules, support incident diagnostics, and contribute to standardizing network architecture.

Responsibilities

• Administer, operate, and develop LAN, WAN, and WLAN infrastructure across European locations
• Ensure availability, performance, and stability of network services
• Diagnose and resolve network incidents and outages
• Manage and configure Cisco network technologies (switching, routing, WLAN)
• Manage Cisco ISE and NAC solutions; manage and configure Palo Alto firewalls
• Implement network/security rules, segmentation, and protect network communications
• Cooperate on standardization of network architecture across European sites
• Create and maintain technical documentation
• Coordinate with external vendors and support infrastructure projects
• Monitor new networking and security trends and technologies
• Participate in day-to-day IT operations

Requirements

• Technical secondary or university education
• At least 3 years of experience with enterprise network administration
• Experience with Cisco network technologies
• Knowledge of routing and switching technologies
• Firewall administration experience (Palo Alto is an advantage)
• NAC solution experience and experience managing network access
• Ability to solve complex network issues and analyze incident causes
• Basic knowledge of network security and segmentation
• English for daily communication
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
• Independence, responsibility, and collaboration in an international environment
• Experience in a manufacturing company environment is a plus
