Description

You will manage and develop the network infrastructure, including configuration and maintenance of routers, L2/L3 switches, Wi‑Fi controllers, and firewalls. You will set up branch connectivity using VPN tunnels, secure remote access, and implement network segmentation with VLANs and firewall rules. You’ll also handle incidents and troubleshooting from the physical layer up through routing and packet/MTU-related issues.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain routers, L2/L3 switches, Wi‑Fi controllers, and firewalls
• Manage VPN tunnels and ensure secure remote access for users
• Ensure network security via VLAN management, firewall rules, certificate management, and monitoring
• Perform connectivity diagnostics and troubleshooting (routing, packet tracing, MTU)

Requirements

• Practical knowledge of MikroTik or Cisco network elements
• Solid knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, and switching (L2/L3; OSPF; STP)
• Basic understanding of network security (VLAN segmentation; firewall principles)
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify the root cause of outages or latency
• Czech language fluency; technical secondary or university education (SŠ/VŠ)
