Description

You will administer, maintain, and continuously improve Linux system landscapes, with a focus on Debian-based server environments. You’ll operate and optimize servers, manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes, and analyze and resolve incidents and performance issues.

You’ll also help build and improve monitoring and logging solutions (e.g., ELK Stack) while collaborating with international teams.

Responsibilities

• Administration, maintenance, and further development of Linux system environments

• Operate and optimize Debian-based server setups

• Support containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes

• Diagnose, resolve, and sustainably address incidents and performance problems

• Contribute to monitoring and logging solutions (e.g., ELK Stack)

• Participate in IT projects and introduce new technologies under an open-source strategy

• Work closely with internal specialists and international teams

Requirements

• Completed IT training or comparable qualification

• Linux administration experience

• Solid knowledge of Debian (or comparable distributions)

• Knowledge of network, server, and systems infrastructure

• Structured, independent, solution-oriented way of working

• English skills (spoken and written); German is a plus
