Description

You will take full responsibility for the company’s IT environment, including managing an external IT partner and overseeing SLA, quality, and delivered outputs. You will own internal applications, automation, data flows, and the evolution of solutions in Microsoft 365 and Power Platform, with emphasis on integrations and secure operations. You will work across server, network, security, reporting, and internal development to keep day-to-day business running reliably.

Responsibilities

• Own the IT environment for the entire company
• Manage the external IT partner: submit requests, monitor SLA, and review outputs
• Administer server infrastructure: Windows Server, Active Directory, virtualization, backups, patching
• Support network infrastructure: VLAN, Wi-Fi, firewalls, VPN
• Collaborate on the phone system administration and handle incidents/change requests
• Co-administer Microsoft 365, especially Entra ID, Exchange, SharePoint, and Teams
• Ensure security for Microsoft 365, server environment, and user accounts
• Design, develop, and operate internal applications using Power Platform (Power Apps, SharePoint, Power Automate)
• Manage scripts and automation using PowerShell, optionally Python
• Support brand (BMW) applications and dealer systems and their integrations
• Own data flows and reporting, including SQL, Power BI Gateway, Dataflows, and connections to service and business systems
• Coordinate application and database server administration with the external partner
• Maintain and update IT environment documentation
• Set and monitor rules for safe use of AI tools within the company

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in independent IT administration in a company
• Solid understanding of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365
• Practical knowledge of virtualization (VMware or Hyper-V), backups, and patch management
• Network knowledge (firewalls, VPN, Wi-Fi) sufficient to oversee and verify vendor work
• Proficiency in PowerShell and basic knowledge of SQL
• Ability to quickly orient in a new environment and find working solutions
• Independent, systematic approach with follow-through
• Ability to explain technical risks and impacts to management clearly
• Ability to set priorities and take ownership of assigned areas
