Description

You will administer and continuously improve the organization’s Microsoft 365 environment (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Intune, Entra ID) and Active Directory. The role also covers ongoing support of Windows and Linux servers, clients, virtualization platforms (Proxmox, Hyper-V, VMware), and SAN systems, as well as monitoring switching/routing, firewalls, and WAN. You will help shape the cloud migration and introduce new technologies, including automation, backup/recovery checks, and ticket-based documentation.

Responsibilities

• Administration of Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Intune, Entra ID) and Active Directory

• Support and further development of Windows/Linux servers, clients, virtualization environments (Proxmox/Hyper-V/VMware), and SAN systems

• Monitor and maintain switching, routing, firewalls, and WAN

• Contribute to cloud migration and rollout of new technologies

• Verify permissions, apply updates, perform backups, and conduct recovery tests

• Automation, monitoring, and user support

• Document work in a ticket system

Requirements

• Completed IT education or equivalent qualification

• 3+ years of system administration experience

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Windows Server, Active Directory, networking, backup, and recovery

• Independent, pragmatic, communicative working style

• Traceable documentation of work

• Linux and SAN knowledge

• Experience with PowerShell or comparable automation tools

• Valid driver’s license Class B

• German required

• 1 year experience with cloud infrastructure (preferred)
