Description

You will design, build, and maintain scalable web infrastructure and production applications using FastAPI and PostgreSQL, alongside React/TypeScript for the UI. The role focuses on delivering RESTful APIs and UI components, implementing CI/CD automation and reliability tooling, and optimizing performance across database, API, and frontend layers.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable web infrastructure using FastAPI and PostgreSQL, including API versioning, migrations, and deployment workflows across environments

• Collaborate with frontend and backend teams to deliver production-ready APIs, UI components, and integrations

• Implement CI/CD pipelines, unit/integration/E2E test coverage, monitoring tools, and alerting systems

• Profile and optimize performance and cost across database, APIs, and React UI; implement caching strategies and efficient resource usage

• Produce and maintain technical documentation (API specs, coding standards, development workflows, migration guides, troubleshooting runbooks)

Requirements

• Fluency in English (min. C1)

• Proficiency in Python and FastAPI (OpenAPI, auth, middleware)

• Experience with agentic AI

• Strong experience with PostgreSQL (schema design, indexing, query optimization, migrations)

• Proficiency in React and TypeScript; solid HTML/CSS skills (responsive layouts, accessibility)

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (linting, testing, build and release automation)

• Comfortable with Git workflows and modern development practices (code review, formatting, static typing)

• Solid debugging and performance tuning across database, API, and frontend

• Experience building and maintaining production web applications/platforms

• Ability to take features from design through implementation, testing, and deployment

• Experience collaborating with frontend, backend, and product teams on cross-functional projects

• Experience working in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)

• High communication skills and willingness to learn/share knowledge

• Willing to travel if necessary
