Description

Lead the delivery and governance of Nordea’s AWS-based AI platform initiatives. You will coordinate cross-functional execution across AWS cloud foundations, AI platform capabilities, security, identity and access management, network, data, and platform engineering, and translate AI/cloud roadmaps into executable delivery plans. You will establish governed, scalable, reusable services and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, security, regulatory, and operational requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of AWS AI platform initiatives (scope, planning, implementation, operational readiness, handover)

• Create and maintain delivery plans (milestones, dependencies, resources, financials, risks, outcomes)

• Coordinate delivery across multiple technical domains and business teams

• Drive evolution of AWS cloud foundations for scalable AI adoption (landing-zone capabilities, pipelines, runtime environments, connectivity, resilience)

• Enable reusable AWS AI services and platform components for multiple AI use cases

• Ensure alignment across business needs, AI use cases, platform capabilities, enterprise architecture, and roadmaps

• Facilitate governance and approvals per internal policies, regulatory requirements, and delivery framework

• Set decision forums, delivery standards, operating models, and reporting practices

• Manage risks, issues, and cross-domain dependencies; escalate when needed

• Drive operational readiness (support models, service ownership, security, resilience, cost management, transition to operations)

• Provide concise, decision-oriented updates to senior stakeholders

• Promote a delivery culture focused on ownership, transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement

Requirements

• Proven track record leading complex technology programmes in AWS Cloud environments

• Strong experience in AWS platform governance, cloud operating models, landing-zone implementation, and platform evolution

• Ability to scope, drive, and govern AWS AI platform initiatives for reusable capabilities at scale

• Experience leading AWS-native AI, machine learning, and data services delivery

• Strong understanding of AI enablement platforms (Generative AI, large language models, agentic/orchestration frameworks, model lifecycle management)

• Experience coordinating delivery across architecture, cloud engineering, security, IAM, network, data, and platform teams

• Ability to translate AI and AWS platform roadmaps into executable programmes, milestones, and delivery plans

• Strong understanding of platform-oriented delivery (shared services, reusable components, automated onboarding, self-service)

• Experience establishing governance frameworks, delivery standards, and operating models for large-scale cloud transformations

• Understanding of cloud security, resilience, scalability, operational excellence, and cost-management principles

• Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence cross-functional teams

• Strong financial, resource, risk, and dependency management

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Advanced presentation and reporting skills using PowerPoint and Excel

• Excellent English communication skills
