Description

Lead the engineering direction and hands-on execution of cloud and AI platform capabilities for teams building modern data and AI solutions in a regulated banking environment. Create reusable, well-governed platform patterns across AWS, GCP, and Azure that make it faster and safer to move from idea to production. Drive secure adoption of AI platform services such as AWS Bedrock, Google Gemini, and Azure AI Foundry while aligning with regulatory and operational requirements.

Responsibilities

• Set engineering direction for AI platform capabilities with scalability and operational resilience
• Lead hands-on engineering across cloud infrastructure, platform automation, CI/CD, provisioning, and infrastructure-as-code patterns
• Design and mature secure platform foundations across AWS, GCP, and Azure (identity integration, access patterns, network/security controls, observability)
• Drive pragmatic adoption of AI platform services (AWS Bedrock/AgentCore, Google Gemini, Azure AI Foundry)
• Coach engineers and build a platform engineering culture focused on automation, repeatability, quality, and developer experience
• Collaborate with product owners, data scientists, architects, cybersecurity, and governance teams
• Own and communicate the technical roadmap balancing speed, scalability, cost, compliance, and reliability
• Translate technical complexity into clear recommendations and updates for stakeholders

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in cloud, infrastructure, platform engineering, DevOps, or similar technical leadership roles
• Production-grade platform experience across AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Expert-level infrastructure and automation knowledge with Terraform as an essential skill
• Experience with AI platform services/ecosystems such as AWS Bedrock/AgentCore, Google Gemini, or Azure AI Foundry
• Strong expertise in identity provider integration, IAM, federation, secrets management, and secure enterprise access patterns
• Experience with production-grade CI/CD pipelines, observability, and operational controls
• Ability to evaluate trade-offs between speed, cost, scalability, resilience, and compliance
• Education in Computer Science/Engineering/Data Science/Information Security or equivalent practical experience
• Documented experience leading engineers and setting technical direction in complex environments
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain platform choices clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
