Description

You will support centralized ICT Asset and Configuration process and operations in the BMC Helix ITSM system by managing the connection between BMC Discovery and the Helix CMDB. The role includes monitoring, troubleshooting, and housekeeping of BMC Discovery, as well as developing TPL, application modeling, and automation for synchronization and reconciliation. You will also identify improvement opportunities and deliver technical solutions in collaboration with data owners, architects, and subject matter experts.

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, coordinate, and maintain efficient operations between BMC Discovery and Helix CMDB

• Perform BMC Discovery monitoring, troubleshooting, and housekeeping

• Develop BMC Discovery TPL, and handle synchronization and reconciliation

• Develop and maintain application modeling

• Identify improvement potential and develop technical solutions

• Cooperate with data owners, architects, and subject matter experts (including BMC vendor)

Requirements

• Professional and hands-on experience with BMC Discovery/ServiceNow Discovery

• Experience with upgrades to the BMC/ServiceNow Discovery tool

• Experience building automations and workflows

• Experience in scripting/writing patterns (BMC/ServiceNow Discovery and SQL)

• Experience in Service Modelling (CAM, SAM or Blueprint)

• Knowledge of architecture and configurations of IT infrastructure components

• Experience working with ITSM tools (Remedy, ServiceNow, Helix)

• High communication skills

• Fluency in written and spoken English
