Description

In this role, you shape the further development and stable operation of the central ServiceNow platform by developing, configuring, and optimizing ServiceNow applications and processes with a focus on developer activities. You design automations, workflows, and business logic to reduce manual effort, and you implement integrations with connected systems via REST APIs and web services. You also support CMDB continuous development and quality assurance, and help with ServiceNow upgrades, releases, and continuous improvements.

Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, and optimize ServiceNow applications and processes
• Work with ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, and Hardware/Software Asset Management (HAM/SAM)
• Design and implement automations, workflows, and business logic
• Integrate with systems such as infrastructure, monitoring, and asset systems using REST APIs and web services
• Support CMDB data models, relationships, and governance
• Collaborate with international IT teams, architects, and business departments
• Support platform upgrades, releases, and continuous improvements

Requirements

• Vocational training or degree in computer science, business informatics, or comparable qualification
• Several years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer or ServiceNow Specialist
• Strong knowledge in at least one of ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, HAM, or SAM
• Solid ServiceNow development using JavaScript (e.g., Script Includes, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Flow Designer)
• Experience with REST APIs, integrations, and automation solutions
• Good understanding of ITIL processes and IT service management concepts
• Independent, structured, solution-oriented work style in agile and international teams
• Very good English; German is an advantage
