Description

Mid-level backend software engineer for a team building and supporting AI-related solutions. The role is hands-on: development, rapid prototyping with AI tools, working with LLMs and modifying prompts, deploying applications, and providing ongoing technical support. Model training and fine-tuning are not part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications

• Rapidly prototype solutions using AI tools (e.g., Claude Code or similar)

• Work with LLMs and modify prompts

• Deploy applications

• Troubleshoot technical issues and handle support tasks

• Make small front-end changes if needed

• Collaborate with DevOps teams

• Work with Kubernetes and support deployment processes

Requirements

• Mid-level commercial experience in Software Engineering / Backend Development

• Strong backend technology knowledge; Java preferred but open to other stacks

• Practical experience with AI developer tools supporting development (e.g., Claude Code)

• Technological flexibility and readiness to work across different parts of the application

• Ability to prototype quickly and solve practical technical problems

• Infrastructure-focused profile: Kubernetes experience, application deployment experience, and collaboration with DevOps teams

Additional Asset

• TypeScript experience

• Experience spanning both development and deployment-related work

• Comfortable using LLMs in daily developer work
