Description

Join the Pricing team in FICC and lead technology delivery for Front Office pricing initiatives. You will understand the target architecture, clarify requirements with stakeholders, break down work, estimate and plan delivery, and ensure on-time release while continuously improving architecture and platform stability.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of pricing project work in collaboration with the Pricing team
• Work independently while also supporting stakeholders and fellow FICC team members
• Improve architecture and platform performance and production stability
• Assist Senior managers with conceptualizing innovative ideas aligned with strategy
• Build hands-on solutions in the Front Office Technology space

Requirements

• 7+ years of IT experience in Java development as an individual contributor and mentor
• Experience working in Agile projects
• Experience in platform improvement initiatives (performance, production stability)
• Self-motivated with proven rapid learning capability
• Experience in fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, presentation, and analytical skills
• Experience in Vertex, Spring Boot, microservices architecture, Elasticsearch, and ELK
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Kibana, Prometheus
• Exposure to message-driven architectures (JMS, IBM MQ / Artemis / Solace)
• Hands-on experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and cyber security tools (TeamCity/Jenkins/Jira/Confluence/NexusIQ/Checkmarx)
• Hands-on experience with RDBMS (Oracle) or NoSQL (MongoDB)
• Familiar with unit, regression, and e2e testing and version control (Git; Subversion)
• In-depth knowledge of Trade lifecycle and Straight Through Processing (STP)
