Description

You will design and implement Java-based microservices solutions, build and evolve APIs and system integrations, and co-create system architecture and technical decisions. The role emphasizes DDD, Event-Driven Architecture, end-to-end observability, performance, security, and scalability—while also performing substantial hands-on coding.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement microservices-based solutions in Java

• Create and develop APIs and integrations, including communication with the EIS platform and internal company systems

• Co-create system architecture and participate in technical decision-making

• Apply architectural patterns, Event-Driven Architecture, and DDD

• Ensure quality, performance, security, and scalability

• Analyze, design, and estimate business and technical requirements

• Support Product Owners, analysts, and architects in feasibility and technical risk evaluation

• Participate in Discovery and Inception workshops (Epic to Feature decomposition, backlog preparation)

• Lead code reviews and mentor team members

• Support troubleshooting and maintain high software engineering standards

• Collaborate with project, architecture, integration teams, and external vendors

• Co-define and implement CI/CD, observability, and DevOps practices

• Prepare and maintain development, integration, and test environments using Docker and Kubernetes

• Support the use of modern AI / Agentic AI tools in software development and automation

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience designing and building web systems

• Very good Java knowledge backed by practical production experience

• Willingness to actively code (about 75% of working time)

• Experience building microservices architecture and distributed systems

• Knowledge of architectural and integration patterns

• Experience designing APIs and integrating systems

• Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD)

• Practical experience with relational databases, SQL, and query optimization

• Practical experience with Event-Driven Architecture

• Practical experience with end-to-end observability

• Knowledge of application security principles

• Experience with code review, mentoring, and leading a technical team

• Experience collaborating cross-functionally

• Experience co-creating technology decisions and assessing technical risks

• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes

• English level at least B2
