Description

You’ll contribute to backend services and data pipelines that help sellers dispatch orders on time, calculate shipment-performance scores, and connect tracking numbers to orders, with ownership of well-scoped tasks. You will work across backend and data systems and support selected React frontend components, with guidance from experienced engineers. The team emphasizes reliability through testing, code reviews, and monitoring practices.

Responsibilities

• Build tested, maintainable software aligned with product and business needs

• Develop skills in Kotlin/JVM and contribute to services and React components

• Learn Scala/Spark and BigQuery tooling for data work

• Write tests, participate in code reviews, and help with monitoring and support after release

• Use AI coding assistants to support development workflows

Requirements

• Experience programming in Kotlin or Java

• Motivation to grow Kotlin skills in production

• Openness to working across backend, data, and frontend (React not required as an expert)

• Strong code quality mindset and willingness to discuss engineering practices

• Clear communication and ownership of well-scoped tasks

• Basic microservices understanding and interest in scalable systems

• Interest in data engineering and willingness to learn Scala, Spark, BigQuery

• English proficiency at least B2
