Description

Build scalable cloud-native applications and backend services on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) using the SAP Cloud Application Programming (CAP) model. Translate business objectives into functional technical solutions, integrate SAP and external systems, and help keep systems stable through troubleshooting and code reviews. Front-end work may include SAPUI5 and SAP Fiori Elements, with event-driven integration using SAP Event Mesh.

Responsibilities

• Design and build cloud-based applications for evolving business needs

• Collaborate with stakeholders to convert business goals into technical solutions

• Develop and maintain backend services supporting core operations

• Ensure scalability, performance, and long-term maintainability

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues

• Participate in code reviews and share best practices

• Support integration across systems and services

• Create and maintain technical documentation

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in SAP development

• Hands-on CAP-based enterprise application development

• Node.js and/or Java experience for backend microservices

• Integration experience with SAP BTP, core SAP solutions, and external APIs (REST, OData)

• Knowledge of SAP BTP security (XUAA authentication, destination management)

• SAP Fiori Elements and SAP Event Mesh event-driven architecture experience

• SAPUI5 front-end development proficiency

• English B2+ communication skills
