Description

Build scalable cloud-native business services and extensions on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) using the SAP Cloud Application Programming (CAP) model.

Responsibilities

• Design and build cloud-based applications for evolving business requirements

• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business objectives into technical solutions

• Develop and maintain backend services supporting core business operations

• Ensure scalability, performance, and long-term maintainability

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues

• Participate in code reviews and share development best practices

• Support integration of systems and services for seamless data flow

• Create and maintain technical documentation

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in SAP development

• Hands-on experience with SAP Cloud Application Programming (CAP) model

• Proficiency in Node.js and/or Java for backend microservices

• Experience integrating SAP BTP with core SAP solutions and external APIs (REST, OData)

• Working knowledge of SAP BTP security (XUAA authentication, destination management)

• Experience with SAP Fiori elements and event-driven architecture with SAP Event Mesh

• Proficiency in SAPUI5

• English communication skills (B2+)
