Description

We’re looking for a Senior SAP Developer to build scalable cloud-native business services and extensions on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) using the Cloud Application Programming (CAP) model. You’ll design and implement backend services, integrate SAP BTP with core SAP solutions and external APIs, and ensure scalability, performance, and maintainability. Front-end development includes SAP Fiori elements and SAPUI5, alongside event-driven architecture using SAP Event Mesh.

Responsibilities

• Design and build cloud-based applications that address evolving business requirements
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business objectives into functional technical solutions
• Develop and maintain backend services that support core business operations
• Ensure solutions are built with scalability, performance, and long-term maintainability in mind
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to keep systems running smoothly
• Participate in code reviews to uphold quality standards and share development best practices
• Support the integration of various systems and services to enable seamless data flow
• Create and maintain technical documentation to support ongoing development and knowledge transfer

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in SAP development
• Hands-on experience building enterprise-grade applications using the SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP)
• Proficiency in Node.js and/or Java for backend microservices development
• Experience integrating SAP BTP with core SAP solutions and external APIs, including REST and OData
• Working knowledge of SAP BTP security practices, including XUAA authentication and destination management
• Experience with SAP Fiori elements and event-driven architecture using SAP Event Mesh
• Proficiency in SAPUI5 for front-end development
• Fluent English communication skills at B2 level or higher
