Description

Build scalable cloud-native business services and extensions on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) using the SAP Cloud Application Programming (CAP) model. You’ll design and develop backend services for core business operations, integrate SAP BTP with external APIs, and support frontend work with SAP Fiori elements and SAPUI5. You will also ensure solutions remain scalable, performant, and maintainable.

Responsibilities

• Design and build cloud-based applications addressing evolving business requirements
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business objectives into technical solutions
• Develop and maintain backend services supporting core business operations
• Ensure scalability, performance, and long-term maintainability
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
• Participate in code reviews to uphold quality standards and share development best practices
• Support system and service integrations for seamless data flow
• Create and maintain technical documentation for ongoing development and knowledge transfer

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of relevant SAP development experience
• Hands-on experience building enterprise-grade applications using SAP CAP
• Proficiency in Node.js and/or Java for backend microservices development
• Experience integrating SAP BTP with SAP core solutions and external APIs (REST and OData)
• Working knowledge of SAP BTP security practices (XUAA authentication, destination management)
• Experience with SAP Fiori elements and event-driven architecture using SAP Event Mesh
• Proficiency in SAPUI5
• English communication skills at B2 level or higher
