Description

Join the AWS Central Economics & Science (ACES) Business Intelligence team to build and maintain data analytics solutions that enable strategic decision-making across AWS. You’ll work with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand underlying business questions, and deliver complete metrics and analyses. You’ll also use AI and emerging data infrastructure to automate repetitive workflows and expand data self-service.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements with business customers and deliver analytical data solutions

• Understand why customers request data and translate underlying questions into analytics

• Design, develop, and maintain ongoing metrics and analyses for business decisions

• Apply best practices for data integrity, accuracy, reliability, and documentation

• Leverage AI and emerging innovation in data infrastructure to automate workflows and accelerate analyses

• Enable data democratization so others can self-serve their data needs

Requirements

• 2+ years analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, and/or NoSQL

• Experience with data visualization using Tableau, QuickSight, or similar tools

• Experience with industry analytics tools and statistical methods (e.g., t-test, Chi-squared)

• Experience with scripting language (Python, Java, or R)
