Description

You will support the administration and further development of IBM i (AS/400) environments, ensuring stable, secure, and efficient operations. The role includes installation, configuration, monitoring, performance analysis, and resolving complex technical issues, with a focus on High Availability and replication. You will also plan and execute upgrades, patching, and other system changes, manage users and permissions, and maintain technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and administer IBM i (AS/400) environments
• Monitor systems and analyze performance
• Diagnose errors and resolve technical issues
• Administer High Availability solutions and replication
• Plan and perform upgrades, patches, and other system changes

• Support high availability and system continuity

Requirements

• Vocational or higher education in IT or related field
• Solid hands-on professional experience in IBM i (AS/400) administration
• Practical knowledge of IBM i system administration
• Experience in IBM i performance analysis and optimization
• Ability to independently diagnose and troubleshoot
• Detail-oriented and responsible working style
• Independent and engaged approach
