Description

You will administer, configure, and optimize network infrastructure for customers in the public sector and support its further development. You will develop network and IT security infrastructure concepts, troubleshoot issues, and maintain and operate networking equipment. You will also create and check technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Administration, configuration, and optimization of network infrastructure (LAN/WLAN/WAN)

• Conceptual development of network and IT security infrastructures

• Analysis and resolution of faults in the above areas

• Maintenance and ongoing operation of existing network infrastructure; install, configure, and run routers, switches, and firewalls

• Create and review documentation

Requirements

• Successfully completed training or degree in (Business) Informatics or a comparable qualification

• Experience with modern security technologies such as firewalls, VPN, and logging

• Hands-on experience with network structures and design, routing, and switching

• Independent working style and enjoyment of working in a team

• Quick comprehension plus an analytical and structured way of working
