Description

You will build internal tools to automate infrastructure provisioning and optimize platform processes. You will implement and maintain monitoring systems to ensure high availability and optimal product performance, while partnering with development teams to support service delivery on the platform. You will stay up to date with Kubernetes technologies and trends and actively contribute to security best practices and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop internal tools to automate infrastructure provisioning and improve processes

• Implement and maintain monitoring systems for high availability and performance

• Collaborate with engineering teams to understand requirements and enable optimal service delivery

• Stay current on Kubernetes technologies and trends

• Contribute to security best practices and compliance efforts

Requirements

• Several years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering role

• Strong passion for new technologies, especially Kubernetes, Linux, and virtualization

• Solid knowledge of Kubernetes architecture

• Advanced programming experience, preferably in Go

• Basic experience with the Kubernetes Operator Pattern

• Basic experience with Software-Defined Networking (e.g., Istio, Calico)

• Basic experience with CI/CD tooling (e.g., Git, Concourse, Flux)

• Knowledge of templating (e.g., Helm, Kustomize)

• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Pulumi)

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

• Successful communication in international agile teams in English; ideally also German
