emagine is looking for a Senior Platform Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to join a fast-growing product company in Stockholm. This is a hands-on infrastructure-focused assignment where you will play a key role in supporting a cloud migration initiative while helping scale and improve the company's platform and core infrastructure.

You will work closely with a highly skilled engineering organization and be responsible for building, maintaining and evolving cloud-native infrastructure that enables rapid and secure software delivery.

Start: ASAP

Duration: 3 months with possibility of extension

Location: Stockholm

Work setup: On-site 5 days per week

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure

• Drive infrastructure improvements related to cloud migration projects

• Build and operate Kubernetes-based platforms

• Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform

• Improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation

• Ensure platform reliability, scalability and performance

• Implement monitoring, observability and alerting across the platform

• Work with networking, security and access management

• Support engineering teams by improving developer experience and internal platform tooling

• Contribute to automation initiatives and reduce operational overhead

• Help establish best practices around infrastructure, security and operational excellence

• Participate in architecture discussions and technical decision-making

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Kubernetes

• Strong experience with Terraform

• Solid networking knowledge

• Experience working with AWS, OpenStack or another major cloud platform

• Experience building and operating production-grade cloud infrastructure

• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and automation

• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes

• Experience with monitoring and observability tools

• Good understanding of security, encryption and platform hardening

• Ability to work independently and deliver in a fast-moving environment

Nice to Have

• Previous experience with multi-cloud environments

• Experience with large-scale cloud migration projects

• Experience working in highly regulated environments

• Experience building internal platform tooling and developer platforms

• Hands-on experience with T-Cloud

• Experience with service migrations between cloud providers

• Programming or scripting experience in Python, Go or similar
