Description

Operate and improve a Kubernetes-based API platform across public and private cloud environments, focusing on automation, tooling, and incident management. Ensure observability and actionable alerting through up-to-date runbooks and documentation, manage incidents end-to-end (response, RCA, post-incident reviews), and support client onboarding. Build diagnostic automation and performance evaluation tooling while proactively managing capacity and supporting upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the Kubernetes-based platform across public and private cloud environments

• Use observability tooling to ensure alerts are actionable via runbooks and documentation

• Manage incidents end-to-end: incident response, root cause analysis, and post-incident reviews

• Onboard and support new clients

• Build automation and diagnostic tooling to reduce manual effort and evaluate performance

• Identify and deliver process improvements

• Support software and hardware upgrades; keep components up to date

• Proactively manage capacity so the platform scales with demand

Requirements

• 4+ years hands-on experience operating Kubernetes in production (ideally with Service Mesh)

• Strong Linux and command line fundamentals

• Debugging and troubleshooting complex systems from application to infrastructure

• Experience with a public cloud provider, preferably AWS or Azure

• Upper-intermediate English level
