Description

As a Senior Business Analyst in consulting, you analyze customer requirements and problems, understand real needs, and prioritize them with the responsible stakeholders. You run workshops, visualize processes and software components (e.g., BPMN/DMN/UML), and create implementation concepts based on requirements. During development, you provide advisory support, align delivery with the intended solution, and help assess unplanned changes; you may also take over Product Owner responsibilities when required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer requirements and problems; understand actual needs and prioritize requests
• Engage in the customer context and lead discussions at eye level
• Plan and moderate workshops; manage the process from requirement elicitation to successful project completion
• Visualize processes and software components using BPMN, DMN, or UML
• Write implementation concepts for development based on gathered requirements
• Support unplanned changes by assessing impacts, risks, and opportunities
• Advise during development and align implementation with the planned solution
• Take on the Product Owner role when needed

Requirements

• Completed degree in Business, Computer Science, or Natural Sciences
• Prior experience in Requirements Engineering and Business Analysis
• Practical knowledge using BPMN, DMN, and/or UML for analysis and specifications
• Strong conceptual and analytical thinking
• Ability to work through complex contexts and consider solutions from multiple perspectives
• German language skills C1 (written and spoken)
• Willingness to travel mainly within NRW for client onsite work
• Initiative, responsibility, and strong communication skills
• Willingness to support less experienced team members
