Description

Lead systemization for next-generation Radio Access Network (RAN) products by defining requirements and driving feature development and technical roadmaps. Design, optimize, and validate physical layer (L1) and radio resource management (RRM) algorithms focused on digital signal processing, MIMO, and beamforming, supported by advanced link- and network-level studies and simulations. Contribute to 5G/6G standards and provide technical direction to improve network performance, efficiency, and product KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Lead systemization for next-generation RAN products: requirements definition, feature development, and roadmap alignment

• Design, optimize, and validate L1 and RRM algorithms for digital signal processing, MIMO, and beamforming

• Perform link-level and network-level system studies to improve wireless network performance and efficiency for 5G/6G

• Develop and refine link- and network-level software simulations and tools to assess designs and guide product decisions

• Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams for system integration and delivery of high-impact features

• Influence and contribute to 5G/6G standards; represent technical direction and mentor teammates

• Deliver systemization artifacts such as requirements and architectures to accelerate product delivery

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in wireless systems engineering focused on 5G/6G and RAN systemization with technical leadership

• Deep expertise in communications theory, digital signal processing, MIMO, and beamforming

• Strong experience with simulation environments/tools for link- and network-level evaluation

• Analytical and problem-solving mindset with evidence of system-level improvements impacting product KPIs

• Leadership, mentorship, and cross-functional collaboration ability

• Proficiency in one or more of Java, MATLAB, C/C++, and Python

• MS/PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field
