Description

You will plan and implement assigned work packages for a complex signaling system new-build project with strict adherence to quality, budget, and schedule. The role includes coordinating all project participants and ensuring alignment between planning, construction execution, project communication, and interfaces. During the construction phase, you will support onsite in the Wetterau area and regularly attend construction site meetings.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality-, budget-, and schedule-compliant planning and implementation of assigned work packages

• Steer and coordinate project stakeholders (engineering offices, authorities, contractors, suppliers, and internal specialist units)

• Commission internal and external service providers in technical project management and provide technical guidance

• Maintain secure coordination between planning, construction execution, project communication, and other interfaces

• Accompany the construction phase onsite in the Wetterau area and participate regularly in site meetings

• Contribute actively to the project organization and share technical project knowledge

Requirements

• Completed technical or university degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Traffic Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field

• Ideally experience in delivery of complex transportation projects or in structural engineering

• Knowledge of technical project management or coordination of infrastructure/rail/signaling projects

• German language proficiency

• Willingness to travel for the project, especially during the construction phase

• High personal initiative, sense of responsibility, assertiveness, and strong teamwork and communication skills
