Description

Bring expertise in Java-based backend development to build and maintain internal data-heavy applications for financial operations, including revenue accounting, invoice processing, bus partner settlements, and payment reconciliation. You will design and enhance internal services for settlement data management and event-history tracking, collaborating with finance, billing, and partner stakeholders to shape solutions. Implement event-driven data processing workflows with Kafka and support delivery/operations with AWS CI/CD, Docker/Kubernetes, and observability.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain features for internal settlement and finance applications

• Develop services to manage partner settlement-relevant data and track changes via event history

• Work with finance, billing, and partner teams to gather requirements and shape solutions

• Participate in refinement, technical design, delivery, and operations

• Implement event-driven workflows using Kafka for settlement operations

• Contribute to infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD on AWS; run services on Docker/Kubernetes; ensure monitoring and observability

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer with exposure to data processing systems

• Proven commercial Java experience

• Event-driven architecture experience, ideally Kafka

• Cloud infrastructure experience, ideally AWS

• Solid SQL knowledge

• Hands-on Docker and Kubernetes experience (or similar container orchestration)

• CI/CD experience

• Fluent English
