Description

Join an international team building proprietary, scalable enterprise platforms for the global insurance sector, covering the full policy lifecycle and end-to-end claims settlement. You will design and develop Java (Spring Boot) backend services, build high-performance REST APIs and integrations, and maintain architecture and code quality. The team applies AI in a spec-driven development workflow for documentation, task specifications, planning, and verification/testing.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Java (Spring Boot) backend services for financial settlement, accounting, investment fund, and claims modules

• Build and maintain high-performance REST APIs and integrations with external service providers

• Own architecture and code quality (Clean Code, design patterns, code review)

• Collaborate with BA, QA, Frontend, and Scrum Master using Agile/Scrum/SAFe

• Gradually take on frontend tasks as project needs arise (Angular/TypeScript)

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial experience with Java and Spring Boot

• Strong skills designing high-performance REST APIs

• Openness to learning and working with Angular (TypeScript)

• Practical knowledge of document databases (e.g., MongoDB) and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Oracle)

• Architectural thinking (SOLID, Clean Code)

• English B2+; Polish A1/A2+

• Openness to AI-assisted programming in a Spec Driven Development model
