Description

Join a team building large-scale systems using microservices architecture. You will develop and maintain Java applications, design REST APIs, implement asynchronous communication (including Apache Kafka), and improve code quality through testing automation and code reviews. The role also involves architectural decisions using DDD and working in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications
• Build and extend microservices-based systems and collaborate with monolithic solutions
• Participate in architecture design and technology decisions
• Design and implement REST APIs
• Develop solutions based on asynchronous communication, especially with Apache Kafka
• Work with databases and analyze data using SQL
• Implement solutions according to Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
• Expand test automation and maintain an effective test pyramid structure
• Perform and review code
• Collaborate with the team to improve business and technology processes
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies and daily Agile team work
• Use available AI tools to increase software development process efficiency

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of commercial experience in Java
• Very good knowledge of: Java, Spring Framework/Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, Apache Kafka, SQL
• Practical knowledge of Angular
• Experience designing and developing microservices
• Practical knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
• Experience designing and implementing REST APIs
• Knowledge of best practices for high-quality, testable code
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum team environment

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Playwright
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of RabbitMQ and/or Elasticsearch
• Experience with a cloud: Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Knowledge of IT Security topics
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Experience mentoring other developers or serving as Technical Lead
