Description

You will develop and maintain Java-based applications using Spring Boot, working in an enterprise environment. The role involves designing and building microservices, integrating systems via REST API and Apache Kafka, and contributing to cloud-native solutions. You will also deliver unit and automated tests and help ensure quality, performance, and security.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java and Spring Boot applications
• Design and develop microservices-based solutions
• Integrate systems using REST API and Apache Kafka
• Work on banking products, fees, and settlement workflows
• Create unit and automated tests
• Work with large data volumes and databases such as PostgreSQL and Apache Cassandra
• Collaborate with analysts and testers in an Agile (Scrum) team
• Ensure quality, performance, and security of delivered solutions
• Participate in designing and implementing integrations between banking systems

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of commercial Java development
• Strong Spring Boot knowledge and microservices architecture expertise
• Experience with Apache Kafka and REST API
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud environments (GCP welcome)
• SQL database experience, especially PostgreSQL
• Knowledge of design patterns and programming best practices (SOLID, Clean Code)
• Experience with complex system integrations
• Nice-to-have: Apache Cassandra and basic Python
