Description

Build and evolve microservices and REST APIs supporting claims reporting and handling processes. You will design system solutions, improve business processes with scalable software, and ensure high code quality through testing and code reviews. The role also emphasizes practical use of AI / Agentic AI throughout software development, from requirements to maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain systems in microservices and monolithic architectures for claims reporting and processing
• Design, implement, and maintain APIs and integrations between systems
• Participate in solution design and implementation of functional and non-functional requirements
• Improve business processes by delivering efficient, scalable IT solutions
• Ensure software quality via automated testing, engineering best practices, and code quality focus
• Actively use AI tools and an Agentic AI approach across requirements analysis, implementation, testing, and maintenance
• Perform and participate in code reviews using modern quality and security tools
• Collaborate in Scrum ceremonies and a multidisciplinary Agile team
• Co-create software delivery standards and AI usage standards within development
• Daily knowledge sharing and continuous improvement on systems with high scale and transaction volume

Requirements

• 7+ years of commercial experience
• Very strong Java knowledge
• Very strong Apache Kafka and Angular knowledge (5+ years)
• Very strong Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and Hibernate/JPA
• Very strong SQL knowledge
• Experience designing and developing microservices
• Experience designing and implementing REST APIs
• Experience creating unit and integration tests
• Ability to use AI tools supporting software development processes
• Willingness to work hybrid (at least 1 day/week in the Warsaw office)
• Ability to provide services from Poland
