Description

Join a team developing and maintaining a system for an insurance client. You will build a Java/Spring Boot backend and Angular frontend, working on both microservices and monolithic architectures. The role also includes integrations between systems (e.g., with Apache Kafka) and daily use of AI tools for software development.

Responsibilities

• Implement functional requirements and participate in technical solution design

• Contribute to code reviews and ensure quality and reliability of delivered software

• Use AI tools in day-to-day development work

• Create technical documentation and collaborate with the Scrum team

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of commercial Java development

• Very good knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and Hibernate/JPA

• Experience with Apache Kafka and SQL

• Practical experience with Angular

• Experience designing and developing microservices and REST APIs

• Ability to write unit and integration tests

• Openness to using AI tools in daily software development

• Strong focus on code quality, independence, and proactive approach to problem-solving

• Availability for hybrid work in Warsaw (1 day in the office every 2 weeks)
