Description

Join a global team building and supporting mission-critical Foreign Exchange (FX) platforms for institutional clients worldwide. You will develop Java-based applications in a modern microservices architecture on Linux, integrated with SQL databases, and contribute to modern front-end applications using JavaScript frameworks. You’ll work in an Agile environment with DevOps and continuous delivery practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Java applications running on Linux and integrated with SQL databases (Sybase, Oracle, PostgreSQL)
• Contribute to front-end development using Angular, React, and JavaScript frameworks
• Build and enhance microservices-based solutions to ensure high availability, scalability, and performance
• Participate in the full SDLC: requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and production support
• Apply Agile methodologies and contribute to iterative, continuous delivery
• Take ownership of services, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving production issues
• Automate testing, deployment, and operational processes to improve reliability and delivery efficiency
• Ensure cybersecurity compliance and remediate identified vulnerabilities
• Support production systems as part of a shared operational responsibility model (daytime monitoring and occasional out-of-hours incidents)

Requirements

• 5+ years hands-on experience as a Java full-stack engineer
• Strong microservices knowledge and familiarity with Spring/Boot
• Proficiency in server-side languages (Java required; Node.js, Ruby, Golang are a plus)
• UI/framework experience with JavaScript frameworks (highly desirable)
• Database familiarity (MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
• Degree in engineering, information systems, or related
• Financial services/investment banking experience (highly valuable)
• Problem-solving attitude; ability to deliver clean, high-quality, secure solutions
• Exposure to Agile methodologies
• Fluent English
