Role: Senior Java Developer (Full Stack focus)

Team: 4–6 people, working with a dedicated Product Owner

Scope: end-to-end software lifecycle (analysis, testing, and production support)

Description

You’ll join a team in Kraków to participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, including analysis, testing, and production support. The job focuses on turning business requirements into iterative stories delivered to production, while also providing ongoing product support. You’ll identify technical debt areas and help maintain a healthy balance between resolving debt and shipping new functionality.

Responsibilities

• Take part in analysis, testing, and production support across the full SDLC
• Collaborate to transform business requirements into iterative user stories and deliver them to production
• Support the product as an integral part of the role, with the team owning both build and support
• Identify technical debt and balance its remediation with new feature delivery
• Design solutions for new components within technology guidelines and constraints
• Pair-program with teammates to increase collaboration and knowledge sharing

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience programming in Java, Spring Framework, and Python
• Deep understanding of software development principles: SOLID, Clean Code, DDD, BDD
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL and MongoDB
• Knowledge of Machine Learning, NLP, AI, or Data Science is an advantage
• Ability to teach and collaborate with engineers to design new systems and solutions
• Strong English communication skills (spoken and written)
• Experience with event streaming technologies
• Advanced English level
