Description

You will join the team developing and modernizing a platform supporting investment-fund processing. The project performs a staged migration to a new Java/Spring Boot solution with a backend adapter to legacy systems, while gradually moving business logic to the new architecture and building/modernizing new features.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend services in Java and Spring Boot and frontend functionality in Angular

• Build adapters and integrate the new solution with the legacy system

• Migrate business logic step-by-step to the new architecture

• Diagnose and fix concurrency problems involving parallel requests and synchronization of sessions/connections

• Troubleshoot application behavior in distributed, multi-instance OpenShift environments

• Ensure scalability and proper traffic routing between instances

• Perform performance tuning: profiling, load/performance tests, communication optimization with legacy backend, and JVM tuning

• Write unit and component tests

• Create and evolve Jenkins pipelines and participate in OpenShift deployments

• Independently analyze and resolve issues in target environments

• Collaborate with QA, frontend developers, and other project stakeholders

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of commercial experience in Java backend development

• Very good knowledge of Java and Spring Boot

• Experience with Angular

• Experience integrating systems and working with legacy systems

• Experience analyzing and resolving concurrency-related issues

• Experience optimizing application performance and resolving performance problems

• Experience with databases, especially Oracle/PL/SQL

• Experience with distributed environments and microservices architecture

• Practical knowledge of CI/CD and running applications in containerized environments

• English level at least B2

• Polish level at least B2
