Description

Lead an impactful GCP DevOps effort delivering Google Cloud Platform solutions and guiding cloud-native transformations. You will architect CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code, optimize applications for scalability, and oversee secure GCP service deployment. You will also mentor teams, collaborate with customers to align scope, and document technical decisions.

Responsibilities

• Clarify technical requirements and define project scope

• Lead customer engagement to ensure alignment and successful delivery

• Direct adaptation of customer applications to a cloud-native framework

• Implement DevOps practices: CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaaC)

• Architect and optimize cloud apps for scalability (CDN, caching, compute optimizations, load balancing)

• Oversee deployment and configuration of GCP services (identity management, secure networks, application security, billing)

• Create and maintain documentation of decisions, designs, and processes

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and ensure optimal performance (Kubernetes clusters and network connectivity)

• Mentor and lead knowledge sharing/training for the team

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related roles

• Advanced, hands-on expertise in GCP (GKE, CloudBuild, Secret Management, Container Registry)

• Experience ensuring high availability, scalability, and security for Kubernetes and cloud apps

• Strong GitHub version control knowledge (branch strategies, repository management)

• CI/CD expertise (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar)

• Ability to create/manage Dockerfiles and Kubernetes YAML

• Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure automation and configuration management

• Troubleshooting for Kubernetes, network connectivity, and distributed performance bottlenecks

• Ability to diagnose/debug Python-based applications

• Enterprise AI integration experience (AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, Azure AI Services)

• Design/build/operate AI agents and agentic AI frameworks

• Knowledge of RAG architectures and implementation

• Hands-on use of AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Trae, OpenCode, Antigravity, or similar)

• Understanding of Generative AI, LLMs, and enterprise AI solution design
