Description

Design, build, and implement reusable Global Treasury Python-based modelling solutions and delivery pipelines. Develop containerised services and CI/CD automations to enable fast, agile model build and deployment. Partner with business stakeholders, Quantitative Analysts, and IT to deliver compliant, end-to-end systems aligned with evolving business and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and implement Python-based modelling solutions for Global Treasury.
• Support containerised solutions and CI/CD automations.
• Deliver a robust, reusable coding environment.
• Provide automated solutions for agile model build and deployment.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, Quantitative Analysts, and IT on end-to-end design and planning.
• Implement solutions following best practices to meet evolving business and regulatory requirements.
• Support change management and maintenance in compliance with group standards.
• Build software solutions that are practical, workable, and comply with accounting, regulatory, and other requirements.

Requirements

• Vast experience designing and building large-scale backend applications and systems in Python for local and cloud environments, including from scratch.
• Strong focus on development of new Python libraries, API design/implementation, and integration with other systems (databases, storage, frontends).
• Experience building containerised solutions and CI/CD pipelines for end-to-end automations on cloud-based platforms (GCP, Docker), preferably with Jenkins and GitHub integration.
• 5+ years of relatable experience.
• Expert knowledge of at least three of: Python, FastAPI, Apache Airflow, S3, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Docker.
• Experience writing and reviewing technical documentation and leading test-driven development.
• Knowledge of finance, particularly quantitative finance; Risk or Analytics experience is a plus.
